Color for baseboards, trim & doors in modern style home?
My current baseboards, trim, crown molding and doors are glossy white with brushed nickel hardware the walls are painted a a medium grey/taupe and the floors are soon to be carbonized bamboo. Our decor is a modern/contemporary style with a black, white, gray color palette, the furniture that is made of wood is a very dark brown/black finish.
Should I leave the trim "standard builders white" or paint them a dark color like espresso?
