Question about stirling silver value. Can you help?
My late mother left a stirling silver set purchased in the 1960's. It consists of 12-place settings.
Each setting is made up of a:
Dinner Salad Fork
Dinner Fork
Dinner Knife
Dinner Soup Spoon
Dinner Tea Spoon
Additionally, the set includes:
1 Butter Knife
1 Cold Meat Fork
1 Pie Server
2 Serving Spoons
1 Sugar Spoon
I realize the value can vary widely, but can anyone give me an average estimate of what this set would be valued at today? Where is the place place to dispose of it?
