How to remove paint from Wood Molding and Door Frame?
I am finally coming to one of my items on my "house list" that i have been meaning to do for years. There is white paint on the door frames and some of the wood molding in the house, with the primary cause looking to be idiot's who painted the doors and then closed them before they were dry.
What is the easiest way to remove the paint and restore the color on the wood?

Hello this is Shecandoit22 from Home Depot. It sounds like Lesley has it right. Mineral Spirits would be a great starting point. Once you have finished with the mineral spirits you may have some paint left or if it raises the grain on the wood then just use some fine grit sandpaper. Make sure that you always sand with the grain of the wood so you don't get cross grain scratches. They will show up once you stain the wood.
