Painting Picture Mirror
Painting Picture Mirror
How did painters in the Renaissance times paint pictures of themselves without cameras?
If they had no cameras, how did they do self portraits like Albrecht Durer? If they used mirrors, they wouldn't get their hands or face right because they would be drawing/painting and looking dow
I saw that once on a PBS program. I can't remember who it was about now but it was a famous artist. Of course an actor was portraying him, but the facts were right. He had the canvas set up and a pair of mirrors set at right angles, right beside the canvas. That way he got the front and side views--very interesting

DVD Review: Alice in Wonderland - 60th Anniversary Edition (Blu-ray + DVD)
In 1862, Charles Dodgson and Alice Liddell were part of a golden afternoon outing that changed the landscape of children's literature. Nearly ninety years later, Dodgson's (or Lewis Carroll's, if you prefer) classic story was brought anew to audiences by visionary animated filmmaker, Walt Disney.
