Why old ink ink tanks come with plastic?
I have several 19th century Ink, a Russian, two English. The three are the law. The ink reservoirs in original plastic. I think that replacing one of the plastic tanks with a right customary. Do you hold the pen ink and metal and plastic? Better? What's worse? Thank you. I also noticed that the ink is evaporated from the plastic after several days.
Plastic was invented in the 1800s, it is possible, but unlikely, that deposits were of original ink. Also likely to be blamed for protecting the ink, or to replace the original itself. I'd do a little more research before throwing, but if you want to replace it with something else that I would say go ahead. My preference would be glass, and retain the best ink you would however find a glass blower who could encourage the news personalized. If you find the original plastic, then stay, if added some time after the production is without doubt to discard. Just be careful not to make changes themselves ink generally reduce its value.
